I was born in 1989 in Almaty, Kazakhstan (which was part of the USSR at that time). In 2010, I graduated from KazNTU in Almaty with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. In 2019, I moved to Munich, Germany.
I’m not religious and consider myself agnostic.

Software development
I’ve been working as a full-stack web developer for the last ~15 years, with my primary focus on frontend development (SPAs).
A long time ago, I worked as a PHP developer (some of my old works). Even earlier, I had some freelance projects in Delphi.
As a hobby, I’m experimenting with Rust. This blog is written in Rust (Rocket, SeaORM, Maud, SQLite).
Sport
I’ve been flying hang gliders since 2012 and have approximately 400 hours in the air. I’ve flown with Icaro Laminar, Moyes Litespeed, and Aeros Discus. You can find many hang gliding videos on my YouTube channel.
During the winter, I ski (since around 2012).
